Marketing Skills Training
For many business owners learning is a negative experience and something they did at school, college, or university; this may have not been a pleasant experience! In addition to this, often, business owners they are too busy working in the business to learn something new.
However, evidence proves that successful people are committed to ‘life time learning’. So my question to you is – when was the last time you read a business book, or attended a sales workshop, or listened to a CD on leadership, or watched a DVD on personal growth, or went on to the internet and listened to a podcast on improving your marketing?
The answer for most business owners is never. Is it any wonder then that 80% of these businesses go bust within the first five years of trading?
The bottom line is that your current knowledge is not going to get you where you want to go. You must improve, learn and grow.
As far as marketing is concerned it is essential that you either have a high level of knowledge yourself, or you employ someone who does.
If I asked you what is your current knowledge like on a scale of 1 to 10 on the following subjects:
• Internet marketing
• Social media
• Email marketing
• Blogging
• PPC advertising
• Overcoming objections
• Etc
Where did you score yourself? If it was not at least 8 out of 10 then I guarantee that this is costing you money.
